We are continuing to support the film community in the light of Kodak chemistry supply disruption.

As ADOX we made available ADOX XT-3® - an improved replacement for Xtol, as well as ADOX D-76® - an upgraded version of Kodak D-76.
Today now further positive news from our colleagues from FOTOIMPEX:

1) The new FOTOIMPEX 110-Professional is purchased from the original HC-110 manufacturer in the USA (since 2020), and bottled into half-litre bottles, as an “emergency supply” for the current market situation. It will look, smell, feel and perform exactly like the original Kodak product.

Head to our store to stock up on this super fast-working developer:

2) MAJOR TETENAL RESTOCK:

Or end of stock? We can’t say.
But we sure know that we have a lot - and it’s flying off the shelves fast! Colortec C-41 kits, Neofin Blue, Hardener, Mirasol Antistatic, Eukobrom 1 L, Dokumol 1 L, Neotenal Liquid, Stop bath, and more - with late 2022 as a production date. Any minilab/professional C-41 chemicals we could get hold of you’ll be able to find in the webshop in the next few days.

I saw it in your store earlier this week, I am curious why the 110 developer is marketed Fotoimpex and not Adox.

This are not the products I will buy (you will get pretty annoyed when I say what it is, 110 just a bit too low and I know you're working hard on it) but great that you are keeping them available for those who want to use it 👍🏻

Have a nice weekend!

Because it is not manufactured by Adox, but instead bought as a private label by Fotoimpex?

ADOX photochemistry is produced by ADOX.
This 110-Professional developer is not produced by ADOX, as explained above. We want to be transparent and honest. And offering this developer under the FOTOIMPEX brand - FOTOIMPEX being specialised on global distribution of classic film photography products from about all manufacturers - demonstrates this transparency.

If possible for you, let us now when it happens. I might be interested in some of them (SP45, BL-RA).

Please check the FOTOIMPEX webshop daily from next Monday on. As soon as FOTOIMPEX get shipments in, it will be listed in the shop. And as the demand is expected to be high, it is recommended not to wait, but better order as fast as possible.

Thanks, yes it makes sense when you narrow it down to Adox Photochemistry.

Importing stuff that isn't available, that's also how it all started. So yeah, the Fotoimpex label fits perfectly actually.

Is FOTOIMPEX 110-Professional water-based or glycol-based?

Yes, a good question Sal. From reading the Adox announcement, which mentioned "the original Kodak recipe" I was tempted to believe that this is the original thick syrup that gave HC110 its legendary longevity but the FomoImpex wording using the phrase "last three years" introduced an element of doubt about whether it is the famous glycol based version

If it is the USA produced version, it isn't the version that offered extraordinarily long storage life and had no water in it.

Yes indeed. I don't use HC-110 much anymore, I bought a bottle a few months ago just as a reference, no resemblance to the real "original" syrup. Current is free flowing, almost colorless.

The old stuff smelled like my 3rd grade gym locker! 😁

It is the US version as indicated, stated and written on the label 😉
Because of the slightly lower shelve live of two years we switched to 500ml bottles.

Sold out already? 😳

As said above stocks need to be filled first. i was wrong- you cannot order before because we cannot take preorders.
Is there any specific product from Tetenal that you people miss which you could not find an adequate replacement for in the past 12 months?

Ok. I was shocked that stock could be wipe out in 15 minutes...

In my case I would be interested in C-41 CD-R SP45 developer. I mixed recently my last batch of Fuji Hunt Envrioneg LR developer and I have to replace my stock. I like the single component idea behind Tetenal SP45 and I would buy it if the price is right.

Just keep Rodinal in constant supply, please. And return MCC and Lupex back to production when possible.

...return...Lupex back to production when possible.

ADOX LUPEX appears to be readily available in a variety of sizes:

It's important not to use Freestyle's stock status as an indication of what's "in production."

@ADOX Fotoimpex I am really hoping you guys would get into C-41 chemistry. With Kodak Flexicolor gone, and almost everyone else is pedaling the blix-based "16-rolls-per-liter" garbage kits, we really don't have much choice! The market must be bigger than for any B&W developer. An ideal offering would be separate 1L packages for dev, bleach and fix.

You had a look at Fuji Hunt chemicals?
