Hi all,

Awhile back during quarantine I took apart my Polaroid Onestep flash (600) following the guide on ifixit:
https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Polaroid+One-Step+600+Teardown/2151

I took it down to the frame counter wheel, because I wanted to see its design, and if it could be modified in any way to display the correct number with new polaroid film (8 shots vs 10 shots originally). I would believe it could be done, if say it were remodeled in a CAD program to remove two of the stops. I don't remember exactly how it works, but there's a spring that pulls it toward 0, and the gear is reset on a sort of ratcheting system for each new film pack. At the end of the pack, I think it just splits apart some contacts with a cam, therefore telling the camera to not take any more shots.

I'm new to 3D design (Currently I'm working on modeling a new 16mm developing spiral like the lomo), but was wondering if anyone has any input on this, or has seen a mod like this before. Thanks!
