That's OK, kids come first. The number of soccer games and rehersals and what-not that I have taxi'd kids to over so many years, I fully understand.
Have fun with them now - they'll soon turn into "Teenagers!" :D

Looks like youa are going to have a beautiful day. It's too busy a day for the kids for me too, otherwise today would have been a great day for a road trip! Have fun!

What do you mean they are going to turn into teenagers? You mean they keep growing???!

Cheers,
Suzanne

And growing... and growing... and growing!!
But they do surprise you and make you proud too! :D

There is a photography show called "Keeping Shadows" or some such at the Worcester Art Museum. It's up until the beginning of January, and it got a good review in the Globe. I'll try to go see it one of these weekends, but I thought I would pass it along as something APUGggers might want to see.
Regards,
Suzanne

Maybe we can schedule a group trip there. This Sat is bad for me - gotta take my daughter to a college open house. But after that... Is anyone else interested?
There used to be a good Mexican restaraunt just around the corner from the museum.

This Sunday is also not good - my daughter's annual high school soccer banquet.
Next week anyone?

Next weekend will probably work for me too. In fact, any time on Saturday, and afternoon on Sunday. Should be a good way to meet!
Thanks, Suzanne

Get together

Suzanne-Is anyone interested in taking some photos also? Just curious

Chances are, I'll have my little rugrats with me, so it'll be hard for me to plan to do any shooting, even though they are currently my main subjects! A day at the museum will be enough for me, but if others want to plan some time to shoot around Worcester, don't let me stop you! Hopefully, we'll hear from a few more folks who are interested.

I am up for a trip to the Worcester Art Museum, it has always been one of my favorites places to visit. Next weekend, at this moment is open for me. Sunday afternoon may be a better day.
Let's keep in touch on this - and any other NE-APUG'ers interested? :D

OK, Peter and I have chosen Sunday Nov 21st as a good day to visit the Worcester Art Museum. Is anyone else there up for a trip to the museum that day? Could we meet there early afternoon visit the museum, then stop someplace for a bite to eat and get to know more APUG members?

WOOO HOOO!! A couple more people and a chance to meet new faces. Sorry, but my face is old so you're outta luck in that department!! :D
Let's shoot for 1:00pm, wait around for a few minutes ('til about 1:15 or so) and then head on in.
Looking forward to meeting you all.

There is also an exhibit at Fitchburg Art Museum...

I posted this information after the replies on the "introduce yourself" forum, then realized that it probably belongs here. I don't think I can make Worcester this Sunday, much to my regret, but there is also an interesting exhibit at the Fitchburg Art Museum - has prints by Brett Weston, Berenice Abbot (beautiful shot of New York at night in the 1940's), and two wonderful color prints by Christopher Burketts. Also prints from Paul Caponigro's 1977 Stonehenge portfolio. For details, check www.fitchburgartmuseum.org.

Re the exhibit at the Fitchburg art museum, see the article "A Photographer's Gift"
under Articles > Photographers.

Bump...this appears to be the first thread and first meet-up of the New England clan... Some of us still weren't on here yet, but I thought it would be an interesting re-read..

You had me confused, Drew. I was going to post that this was an overlap with your thread on getting together when I noticed Art Liam's post about making it! He's got a long haul to come shoot at the Quabbin from Seattle, or wherever he is today- someplace out on the left coast, and then Bill Hahn, rest his soul. I should have checked the dates first... I am truly a bear of little brain!
