New darkroom space in Montreal (QC)

The Montreal analog photo club Le trou noir, which had ceased its activities during the pandemic, has moved its darkroom to a new location in the city. The darkroom (black & white only) is being built, will be able to have four or five people working in it at the same time. It's in an artist center, so it will be available to members 24/7. It should be ready in May or June.

If you're in Montreal looking for darkroom space and would like to become a member, PM me, I'll put you in contact with the person in charge.

I am not in Montreal but am always happy to hear when community darkrooms are created. Ours shut down at the local high school so I built one myself. Such a great space to be creative. Best of luck!

There's a website, but it needs to be updated. Priority for the last two years was to find a suitable venue to set up the darkroom. Once it's finished, we'll update the site.
