...but that's not your book. I'm with @Pieter12 - I wouldn't review something I've not seen/experienced. In fact, doing so in my mind would be ethically very iffy. As is the invitation to submit positive reviews, specifically. You want to ensure positive reviews, pay a service to render them. Good plan? I don't think so, but if that's the goal, organize for it. Also, APUG ceased to exist many years ago.

I wonder if perhaps the presentation on the page you linked to might be more effective - or at least less puzzling. Having a 'synopsis' for a photo book seems a little odd. A 'full' synopsis is a puzzling concept. Content-wise, I appreciate the technical choices you've made, but I doubt most people would buy a photo book because of the focal length of the lens used or the 'tonal relationships'. What may help in selling your book is to provide a preview of a couple of pages, as is commonly done in cases like these. Maybe say a few words about subject matter. If you feel the latter isn't relevant, consider trying to describe the mood the photos are meant to bring across, or characterize the main themes that the photos revolve around. What links the photos together? How did the series end up as a series?

Having said all that, congrats on the publication of your book and I hope that the reviews will be positive as well as sincere.

I'll pass on my congratulations as well.
Perhaps if you requested "thoughtful" reviews, the request would be better received?

Just a thought along the lines of books… I have been buying books for many years from PhotoEye books in Santa Fe. Originally an organisation I belonged to had a deal that members got a discount. Possibly Photrio can contact them and get something similar for members.
Their website has previews and reviews.
