I read Patricia Bosworth's book on her. Arbus lived an interesting life. Has anyone read both the old and he new one?

Nope but Revelations give some details on her life.

For a more psychological approach, I highly recommend Patrick Roegiers' book to understand her professional trajectory.

I think she suffered from bipolar disorder and ended up committing suicide. On a side note, there's a fictionalized movie about Diane Arbus called Fur staring Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey Jr.
