(there was a url link here which no longer exists) - New Autochromes , Professor Bertrand Lavedrine method - Author of Autochrome book -

I contacted with Professor Lavedrine and asked a Autochrome Screen Scan to put on computer and his reaction to my idea which is using panchromatic emulsion removed autochrome plate and its screen as the new screen.

He responded that he was using the same idea to create his new autochromes with panchromatic emulsion removed plate and screen as his new medium and for computer , he has no scanner at hand for my request and he is aware of this idea also.

In my opinion, the scanner would be unable to copy the starch pattern accurately. Where you can obtain a scanner with 4000000 dpi..?
