I am pleased to announce a new feature on the site! It is the APUG.org Member of the Week! Each week we'll be interviewing one of our members and publishing some of their photographs on a special page so that we can learn about each other and find new techniques and inspiration for our own images. Our first Member of the Week is William Levitt!
You can see the APUG.org Member of the Week at:
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)
Any active APUG member can be our Member of the Week!
You don't need to have years of photography experience or hundreds of prize-winning photographs. We are interested in featuring all of our members and their images.
Here's what you need:
* Scans of five or more of your photographs. The scans should be at least 640x480 pixels and 72 dpi.
* You must be willing to have the photographs published on the APUG.org Member of the Week web site and used as part of a banner (on the APUG.org web site only) to advertise the Member of the Week feature.
* You must be willing to be interviewed by APUG and to have the interview published on APUG.org.
If you're ready with all of these, then send an e-mail to amw@apug.org and let us know that you'd like to be the next Member of the Week. Please include your APUG member name, and if you have a web site please include the address. Please do not attach images.
We hope you like this new feature. Also, don't be shy! If you're ready to be the next Member of the Week, let us know!
