Ive been playing around with blockchain for some time and the NEM community in Japan have launched this site called http://nemgraph.net which allows creators to share their work for free.
It costs 5 XEM if you want to register your ownership/copyright on the blockchain per photo (currently about 25-30c) and you have the option to charge a licensing fee for a third party to use your work and they can download the image after paying the fee.
You can also comment and tip others, once you upload your work, its common for others to tip you and you can soon enough use your tips to pay for registering your next photos you upload.
Its also possible to give a creative commons licence to work you are happy to share royalty free, but you always have the option to register your ownership as the creator of the image on the blockchain.
Its a little bit like flickr/shutterstock/instagram all put together. Not so much on the social network side, but you can follow others and see their work that is uploaded.
