Negative Restoration

I have a 35 mm b & w negative that I need to have digitally restored. I want to preserve the original (which has some damage to the emulsion from wet glassine) and end up with a new negative that has the damage removed. This negative is part of a collection so I am looking for a place to have this done at the highest possible resolution so I can use the new negative to make prints for an exhibition. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
