Hi all,

I need your advice on the following: I always shoot B&W,35mm and 6x4,5 (mamiya 645, 80mm). Next March I have an important shoot to do, and it will have to be in colors. My question is simple, what film should I use? I do not know a lot to color films, but I have 6 weeks to test. Here are the parameters:

Cameras: 35mm and mamiya 645
Location: Studio, with softboxes, grids etc...
Model: A 14 years old beauty, perfect skin, blonde hair.
Main concerns: Saturation and skin tones.

I was looking at the Fuji Astia 100F, maybe I am wrong. I am a little bit lost. I have a really good lab that can process 135 and 125 color films. I do not process it myself

Any ideas on what I shoudl use?

Thanks,

Patrick

Those pictures will be used in a portefolio, the model is actress/comedian. Mainly print in 8x10 or similar.

Fuji Astia 100F is a nice film for portraits. I have only used a few rolls of it for portaits, but I really like the results, and I would use it again without hesitation.
