I need to ship some film (400TMAX) to my daughter via USPS Priority Mail. I can't use FedX or UPS because it needs to go to a P.O. Box.

I am concerned about it getting fogged by Xray. Should I be?

Thanks,

Jim

Nope! Not unless she is pushing it to 3200. As far as I know they dont xray every package, my guess is only suspicious packages are being xrayed now.

Thanks Brian!

Whenever I get a shipment of film from J&C, it's delivered by USPS Priority. They have a large label that states that the contents is photographic film, do not X-Ray. Not sure if that really means anything to the post office though...

Jim, I've received several shipments of film through USPS with no problems. Just mark as photographic film-do not x-ray.

No gaurentees of course - but no problems encountered so far.

Thanks Guys!

Jim

USPS has always worked and had no trouble. Mark no X-ray or something. And don't forget cookies. Every child likes to get cookies in the mail. Oh yeah, and money too.

She took the cookies and money with her, but forgot to take the film
