Picked up a Bogen 3050 without the leg extensions, not the larger tube that's dropped by the lever at the top of the leg, but the one that comes out of that tube and has the feet on it. Apparently Manfrotto no longer makes parts for this tripod so I'm going to make my own. Anyone that can throw a caliper on this particular leg and give me a diameter would receive my eternal gratefulness. Approximate length would be good too.
I had an almost-match earlier today when I pulled the bottom leg off a set of crutches in my garage. Close but just .5 to 1mm too large.
