Need help identifying location of shot

I shot this back in 89 somewhere in the New York area around Poughkeepsie or so.

I have misplaced the shoot notes, and do not recall where or what this was.

If anyone could help, I sure would appreciate it.

In an enlargement, can you read the whole dedication on the plaque? All I can make out here is "in memory of Warren XXXX Schofield". Maybe the church or whatever it is has a site of their own which would have the dedication (and it'd therefore show up on google).

"This cross erected in memory of warren t. & clara n. schofield 1854"
I googled it but came up with nothing.
