I recently bought some Shanghai GP3 film.

Can anybody direct me to a thread that contains info about this film?

I've searched on Google but cannot find a "data sheet" on it.

What film is it most like?

The box says to use D-76 for 10 minutes at 68° F.

I want negatives that are not too contrasty, but more "normal" (detail in the shadows and highlights).
Seems all the pictures I've seen taken with it are somewhat contrasty.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Steve.

look for personal speed and developer test. It is an excellent article.

It will teach you how your gear works with any film and developer combination to get the look that you want on the paper you use. It is worth doing at least once (you likely will be hooked). It maens that you are no longer left wondering why there are no greys, or all is grey.
