Ignore the typos since I am still in the field and am posting this from my phone.

Through a freak calamity that I cannot go into at the moment, foreign debris made contact with the shutter of my Mamiya 645af. One of the leafs of the shutter was pushed off the track and into the mirror assembly. I do not think the mirror assembly was damaged, but the camera is a wreck.

I need to know someone who can fix this. I have contacted Keh, and am waiting on a quote. But, if there is a Mamiya master out there, I would love to know.

I'm bumping this because I have an AFD that was lightly used and in fine shape now but would be interested if there is a "go to" place (cheaper than the factory) for Maymia 645.

Unfortunately I feel the way the shutter is designed it leaves it vulnerable.
If you load 120 without flipping the pressure plate in the back the film backing paper can cause problems.
This issue has caused me to pass on thee Foma films with the reports of the adhesive strip coming off at the end of a roll.

That worries me.
