I'm going to write a new book titled: I found my MOJO in Cleveland

If anyone needs a weekend of photo-therapy, I highly recommend hooking up with these folks. From print showings to casual conversations at lunch, you'll enjoy intelligent and richly informative conversations with people who really like to share what they know about photography. The only regret I had for the entire weekend was that I left my prints sitting securely on my darkroom worktable -- I missed an invaluable opportunity to get some creative, non-judgmental feedback from people with any eye for the image.

Thanks Bill. You say nice things. Remember therapy is an ongoing process. One weekend may motivate, but not cure. Come back to this event, bring your work, go to the events starting elsewhere. Enjoy the Midwest LF Asylum events. The continuation and continuity are why I went back to school at 62 and still take courses at 70. Enjoy the MOJO.

I just got my Ektar 100 color film back from the lab and my Fuji 160S 4x5 that I shot at our gathering. At first glance they are realy nice. Reedy Photo in St Petersburg Fl does a really nice job.

I'll post some neg scans real soon, (yea that is what they all say). Most likely post a few here and a buch up at my smugmug gallery.

John and Dolly thanks again for hosting us and a special thanks for the home made apple pie and dinner last week. It was amazing.

The tower is in Mohican State Park. I've read that since 2005 the tower is open to go up and in, but the top was closed and locked that day. We made it to the top and stayed on the stairs for the view. Here is some information

The last url has a photo of the structure. The link at the top right where it lists all towers in Ohio is broke hopefully they will fix that.

I've climbed up quite a few towers and only been in one in my life... pretty sparce up there. Usually a chair, a compas kind of dial range finder thing and a radio or twisted pair dedicated phone hand set. Oh yea did I mention a huge hole in the floor you do not want to forget about, the one you climbed up in.

Remember the ranger on the Red Green show? That is what happens to people who stay up there too long.

I thought there was a tower in Cuyahoga National Park. But I do not know if you can get on the steps due to a fense. I thought Dorothy shot an IR picture of it one trip.

I am planning on going. If it is not raining, the might be a good time to try out the 210mm Angulon on the 7x17
