Ok if that's what you want to hear... But it is. I came to the same realization only this past weekend myself. I thought it was the weekend after... Sure hope my mom and wife (not the same person) understand that I won't be there. I will start looking for a nice card though.

Sorry Dale. We ran into soooo many date conflicts on this one. We have three things competing on the third weekend. The 14th was out for several of the people who committed to coming way earlier. The end of the month was too close to Bill Schwab's gathering. It became 6-7-8th by default or nothing until late July-early August. Try doing the Mothers Day thing on Sunday and join the gang Friday and Saturday.

Still not sure if I'm going to be able to make it, John. Going to try to pop over for at least a few hours to catch up but with a half day of work Sat - Mother's Day - yard work mounting - and getting ready for the Oregon trip on Tuesday it's going to be tough.

Mom loves me and wants me to be happy. That's why she told me she's perfectly happy, in complete bliss even, for me to bring her Outback Steak House gift card over early if I have to miss Mother's Day. Now I know what to get her!

It looks like 14-15 people are planning to come. Some are still trying to decide. Some will be here for a yet to be determined time, but they are coming.

We have had days of rain for those of you out of town. Today is gorgeous. Right now the grass is above my ankles, too wet to mow and rubbing Savannah’s stomach. Please plan on waterproof shoes or boots.

There is a 30-40% chance of rain at different points through the weekend and temperatures high 50s-low 60s. In Cleveland we complain about grey skies. In Paris they call it silvery. There is something about glasses half full or empty. You decide. If it rains we can look at prints or go to either of two great photo museum exhibits:

I had to write a one page gallery visit review on each for my class. Send me a PM with your email and I can send you a copy if interested in one person’s view.

Here is a tentative schedule. You are welcome to follow it or create your own adventure, touching base with the rest of us when you please. I run a tight ship with leaks everywhere.

Fri: meet, talk, go to dinner about 6 PM. Campers come in when you get here. The grass is not mowed there either.

Sat: 9 AM coffee at our house.
I am going to lead who ever will follow to the mile of the OH & Erie Canal towpath where I got the most pictures. See post #21 in this thread. It will be interesting to learn what you see.
5: PM Meet again at our house. We will go to dinner early, come back here and look at people’s work.

Sun: 10: AM meet at Richfield Family Restaurant across from motels at the OH Tpk. entrance for brunch, talk, goodbye to some, off shooting to others.

It looks like 'The Aged P.' is on a rebound - I didn't think I would be able to make it but it now looks like I will. Of course, that can change in a few hours. But for now, if you can take it, I can offer one more cat to herd onto the leaky boat. It will be great seeing you all again.

I am so happy to hear you are coming. After your last post I thought you were going elsewhere this weekend.

We are supposed to have a storm tonight and I really don't know how bad it will be down there tomorrow. I haven't been able to mow anything yet so it will probably be wet. Since you and Jeff are camping and have Jeeps, I'll just say plan to go in there and try not to dig it up too much.

Jeff I hope you are driving the Jeep this weekend.
