Joe,

I think you have the answer.

Haven't seen you since you were last here.
I know landscape isn't your thing, but you are always welcome.
Hope you are well.

John

Sorry to miss you Lee. Looking forward to seeing the pics. That visit is certainly on my wish list.

We will have to schedule the Fall Gathering so it does not conflict with your event. Dolly and I wll will give Rickett's Glen a good look to see if we can go.

We will miss you too. I tried scanning a very flat neg from a very wet, foggy, misty day up on Nova Scotia. I bet I need to print it then scan the print, my pathetic scanner does not like anything that is not perfect to start with. Some of what I hope to bring next time I see you.

Definitely going to make it to this meetup! John, mind if I bring some negs and prints along so we can compare notes?
Glad you can make it Mat. Looking at prints and negs is one of the things we do routinely. Look forward to seeing you again. Bring Lauren as well if she can make it.

Now that is one leaky boat.

There is a large light table in the basement we can use to look at negs. Just about everyone will have prints to show. Glad you are coming. We would also enjoy seeing Lauren's painting if she is so inclined.

I have your card, but would appreciate contact information and especially an emergency contact. Just send a PM please.

And you'll see me there again John. Just not sure when.

Joe

As always, looking forward to the weekend. Thanks again, John, for hosting.

Jeff,

Looking forward to seeing you again and hearing of your adventures.

This wasn’t in the Sunday NY Times or the Cleveland Plain Dealer, but the Richfield Times announced an event on our date that may have photographic potential for the non rocks and roots crowd.

“The Richfield Town Trust will sponsor the Kelly Miller Circus on Saturday, August 6…. Show times for the circus on August 6 are 2, 5, and 7:30 P.M. behind Richfield Town Hall…. Advance tickets are $10 for adults. (No mention of show ticket cost when purchased that day)….Watch the excitement of the circus tent go(ing) up on show day at 9 A.M. All are welcome for free.”

Welcome to small town America. Have fun.

John & Dolly

Hope you can make it Dorothy. You always add a lot to the party.

John

Happy to report that Peter S. called yesterday and said he would be coming.

Bob C. sent me an email today saying he would be here Saturday.

It is beginning to feel like a party. If it stays this hot you will be happy to know our 34 year old under powered air conditioner died last month and we are just making the final adjustments on a new five ton unit that should help cool things for the print viewing.

If it gets really hot, bring your own chair. We can set them up in the pond for a discussion group and street (pond) photography. We have floating coolers that we can pass down the line. For those who haven’t been here before, there is a 1/3 acre pond 30 feet from the house. Bring towel, hat, chair and beverage.

John

Thanks Jeff & Dale for chiming in.

Mike S from IN says he plans to come back again if his employer is not having a software update. He is in the MIS Department. If he comes he plans to bring a friend. I love how this grows.

John

Let me repeat for any one lurking, that all film shooters are welcome.
Please PM contact and emergency contact information and I will send back directions and my contact information.

John

I haven't been on APUG too much, and I'm sorry for my delinquent post. As John mentioned, I'm happy I have no conflicts and will be joining the party this time. I've been shooting mostly 8x10 lately, and I hope to have some prints to show. Been printing silver lately as I have paper I need to burn through. Can't wait to see what everyone's been up to.
Peter

Looking forward to seeing you Peter and the new work you have done.
How is the collecting going. That was a great show of work that had arrived. Any more that we could see?
