Check at cameraleather.com, and they'll give you instructions. If you buy the kit from them, the pieces are neatly precut for you. I wouldn't do it from blank leather sheets unless you are particularly skilled at cutting such things (which some people are--like people who cut beveled window mattes with an X-acto knife). There are a lot of small pieces like tiny leather circles that go on a knob and such.

Well yeah, he said he's definately up for selling it. He said the camera is in great nick apart from the leather which some fool he swapped it with for meduim format gear attempted to recolour. I jumped the gun again asking questions here before looking at the website. It looks pretty easy to recover and it only costs $48. Bargain! That's compared with the apparent recovering cost of £300 sending it to Linhof Studios! Morgan, the guy at camera leather has been really helpful and quick to respond to my emails. Thanks for showing me that site David. It's made me more certain I want this camera knowing I can get it looking as good as new for a minimal amount of money and can add a personal touch. They suggest anybody with hobby skills will have no problem recovering one at all. So all those hours and days painting and modelling Games Worskshop figures will come in handy. I'm thinking of going for the moroccan red  The lizard and snake skins are too small to cover the whole thing, or should I have it gilded in 24 carat gold?
