I had found a box of FB paper in an Ebay purchase of several boxes that I had never heard of. It was called Super Brome under the Photographic Research Organization label, box says it was made in Spain. Now I can understand being clueless about an offbrand distibutor but I've never heard of any companies in Spain producing print paper. Anybody have any history to offer on this subject?

There were at least 2 companies in Spain making photographic film (Valca & Negra) so its quite likely that one or both also made photographic paper. I don't think either are still manufacturing sensitised materials; at least one of them was still in business in the 1990's as I still have some "own brand" films with a 2000 expiry date marked "Made in Spain".
