Does anyone know what the deal is with this lens? Says it's a sekor C but doesn't have the retractable lens hood or the polished "silver" bezel at the front of the focusing barrel like I've seen on all other 210 C's. Also, the markings look like they are a darker paint. Considering buying it but would like to know the story of the discrepancies first. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that there isn't a retractable lens hood on that lens? It looks to me like mine when the hood is fully retracted.

These are dirt cheap so if you have ANY reservations...I'd skip it.
Mine is #332** and has the silver bezel.

Compared to the one I'm holding right now your example looks like the hood is missing.

Hello;
The hood is missing on your lens, I would bypass this lens and look for another, Steven.
