It's marked with an E. Thought it might be an enlarging lens.

This lens was apparently supplied to fit a Braun Paxette

and possibly other cameras too.
What mount have you seen it in?

It's in a screw mount. Possibly 39mm. Just tried to mount it on an M43 ring and it was too small.

Does your lens have a focusing mount? I have never owned a Braun and can't see from the pictures what form the interchangeable mount takes, but it seems that every lens has its own helical focusing.
