Nice work!

Qué?
I thought you had left (for whatever reason or circumstance) for the proverbial "greener pastures" of NE Victoria!? But on seeing this thread I suspect I am looking at the City of Wangaratta, the give-away being the Ovens River path lined by trees...![]()

Nice work!
I'm not an expat Taswegian. But I might be a Tassie devil one day! Victorian, who works in Maroochydore/Qld as a weekly FIFO (on 5 day leave this week while new studio offices are being fitted out).
I know Wang well. NE Victoria (Bright esp.) is a rav-fav MTB and road cycling destination, particularly the flatlands toward and around Greta, Moyhu, Stanley et al, Glenrowan and beyond to the Warby Ranges. And– oh, yes! A bit further afield, but also Milawa for the wine and cheese!![]()

The Tasmanian reference was gleaned from your footer that flags a knowledge of the Arts and the Greens. Your knowledge of Wang' is well grounded!![]()

The Greens!?
Ah, no. Not the people. Not the politics.
I am well versed in the Hobart arts precinct that reaches to the University of Tasmania and up to the elegant homes and leafy myrtle glooms of Fern Tree.
The balloon pics are colourful. Wang certainly has grown over the years.
The Porepunkah airfield is the place to see home made and commercial ultralights coming and going. Scoring a lift in one to soar over Mt Buffalo (mind you, with a 3 metre, 4-blade propeller churning a metre from your elbow) might thrill some, but it gave me sweats and vertigo!!![]()

In a Flash - probably a silly place to be - just as silly a place as the person by the shore: Taken 2003, Olympus C-4040z, , f/10, 1/400, ISO-100 (10fps consecutive shutter release)
How close were you to those balloons?
