Just wanted to let everyone know, I will be having a show of my work at the Groton (Mass.) Public Library from June 17th until the end of August. This is a selection of images from the series I have titled Small Wonders. This body of work is an exploration of childhood play, and are presented as selenium toned gelatin silver prints.

There will be an opening/workshop where I will take out the 4x5 camera, and give a little demo, and then make polaroid portraits of some of the folks attending. This workshop will be on Saturday June 28th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. We are welcoming high school students, but adults can come and play, too!!

If you are in New England at all this summer, let me know... I would love to share this work with other APUGger's, and I will meet you there. If you can't make it this summer, the show will be "traveling" (do you love it??) to the Acton Memorial Library in Acton, MA in September and October.

The Groton Public Library is located at 99 Main Street in Groton, MA. The information is not yet on their website, but it should be soon, and you can find hours and directions through the following link!

Suzanne that's fantastic, Congratulations!! I love that you'll have your 4x5 camera there. Wish I could be there with you. I'm certain your show will be a big success.

Congrats Suzanne! If I make it to my brothers this summer, I'll be sure & drop by to see your exhibit.

My compliments!

That's great news, Suzanne! Hope it goes well as I'm sure it will. Showing the 4X5 camera will be a big hit with everyone young and older. Please take some snaps of the show and your camera and post them in this thread! That way, people like me who live so far away can see how your show looked.

Congrats Suzanne, you're work is wonderful and deserves to be seen.

Congrats Suzanne!! And you didn't let us know Sat when we saw you at the Decordova??
I'll try to make it to the reception on the 28th... I don't know if I will be incarcerated at work for inventory on that day or on the 15th.

Great thing Suzanne!!, I'll probably be in Northampton the first week of August, is it close to Groton? I'll love to see your show...

Congratulations Suzanne, I'll try and make it down there.

--Northampton is about 100 KM from Groton, as a guess.

Congrats, Suzanne! I commute through Groton - I guess I'll have to hunt down the library

Thank you all!

John... the library is pretty much across the street from Lawrence Academy, though you have to hunt a bit for the parking lot. It's behind the building, and only accessible from Broadmeadow Road, and Playground Road.

Jose... it would be great if you can come over to Groton from Northampton... it's probably an hour and a half or two hour drive, so you'll need to plan for an afternoon, at least!!

I wish I could go because I really love all your photography. Congrats!

Congratulations Suzanne! Well-deserved!

Have already said how much I'd like to come and join the party (so be sure to have a glass on me  )

Good luck Suzanne, and I hope you manage to enjoy it aswell. You deserve the recognition I'm sure this will bring.
