Looks good Andrew.
Could the vignetting be related to your choice of aperture - visible with small/large apertures but not with large/small apertures?

It could have been... I probably should have kept track. All exposures were made at f/8 or 11.

I had a Mamiya Six many years ago, but sold it. Nice cameras, but a little on the heavy side. It sure seems to work good for you. You've been using Jay DeFer's Obsiian Aqua lately. It seems to give good results, at least for you. I've tried most of Jay's developers, but not that one. Any benefits over Pyrocat-HD? Better yet, how does Obsidian Aqua go with donuts? 😋😋

😄 too early to tell, but not so good for the doughnuts!
Obsidian Aqua works best at 1+250. The 1+500 is better for semi stand and only if ample exposure is given too make up for loss of shadow density. Sharpness seems to be the same as pyrocat-hd at the 1+250 dilution. OA requires a lot of Catechol, but very little stock. 2ml to make up a 500ml solution. In future, I'll make a 100ml for stock A instead of 500 ml. The shelf life is only 6 months. It'll die before I use up 500 ml!!

I think I’ll stick with Pyrocat- HDC. I live by the old saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it “. Oh, and Pyrocat seems to go just fine with donuts in my experience.

I don't think I'll ever give up Pyrocat-HD. It's been a very reliable developer for me for the past twenty odd years. I still need to give the HDC a go, though.

Andy,
I don’t know if Pyro-HDC is worth the hassle since the results are the same (to me) as Pyro-HD. I only mixed it because it is supposed to be a little nicer to Mother Nature.

All the more reason! Always looking for ways to make things easier for her...

I way late to this, but I just found this post and I really want to try this. I've been trying to figure out new ways to develop Rollei Infrared. What time and agitation scheme did you use with Obsidian Aqua? I like these results, and so far I've failed at getting usable results out of Pyrocat with this film.

Racking my brain a bit here...I believe I agitated constantly at the start for 30 seconds, followed by 5 second every minute. At the higher dilution of 1+500, I use semi-stand, and geometric agitation sequence, as outlined by Jay de Fuhr. I prefer the stronger dilution I used in the video. EI 6. If I recall, I developed for 9 minutes. In regards to Pyrocat-HD, I love Rollei IR in it. 1+1+50. 7:30 21C. Continuous rotary agitation. I use BTZS tubes. EI 6 (with 720 filter).

Prior to that video, I made this one:
