I packed away my home darkroom several years ago after we moved and I don't think I'll ever set it back up so it all needs to go. If someone in the Central Texas area (in Waco) would be interested in having a darkroom, PM me. All free to someone who intends to use it.

This includes:
Enlarger (4x5), includes negative carriers, lens mounts, and maybe a lens or two
Enlarge (6x7 IIRC), same as above
Trays, Print washer, graduated cylinders, tanks, some chemicals, and whatever I'm forgetting about.

This has all be stored in a cooled commercial storage location.

Dear WJW,

I am in process of setting up darkroom in Donna Texas,
Have the space but old sparse vivitar 35mm enlarger, etc.

Would drive up meet up and your equip would go to very good use as once a month
I have a free photo class for seniors from the local trailer parks down here,
I really appreciate the consideration!!
Would help other Texans learn the analog process!

I shouldn't do this, but I cannot resist.
Don't let Chip and Joanna see this - they will try to turn the darkroom into a "Fixer Upper" and add shiplap to it!
Good luck finding a good home for this - I would help if I could.

Met them 15 years ago when they were first getting started (I worked in a paint store) and he was just kinda goofy. She struck me as a b***h and from what I've heard since I think I was right. Smart and good at promoting but a ............

Not unless you wanted to deal with the worst traffic in Texas. You're up near Mt. Storm, correct?

Worst traffic in ___________ (fill in the blank). It sucks in almost any city of size. But you should have good karma from your giveaway.

I will be in the Temple/Killeen area tomorrow and it would be very easy for me to hop up to Waco to pick up any remaining darkroom equipment you want to get rid of

Man they are talking about Texas here. Everything is bigger and worser in Texas. Having driven in the area I will agree traffic in Austin is worse than anywhere in Texas! Except for Dallas, Houston, sometimes, even Waco. When are they going to build the high-speed train between Dallas and Houston? That might take a little traffic away from the Interstate at Austin.. This causes me to have a question. How far will people be willing to drive for "free" photo equipment? Good equipment?..........Regards!

Taking into account that finding a free 4x5” enlarger here in Brazil is practically impossible, I’d say I’d be willing to fly for free photo equipment! Of course, I would plan a vacation to go with the new equipment. Sounds crazy, huh?
