I have tested the shutter speeds of the Schneider-Kreuznach 135mm f4.7 in a Synchro-Compur-P shutter and they are way off, top speed is only 1/125. Any recomendations for a firm to do a CLA in southern Ontario? and what is a typical cost for a CLA for this type of lens and shutter?

Thanks in advance

Nice camera, should serve you well.

My first suggestion on the shutter would be to just exercise it many times, like while watching TV, and see if it loosens up.

Second suggestion would be as Steve said... Carol Flutot.

It may be more economical to buy a lens in a good shutter than getting a CLA on the Schneider.

Paul Ebel in Wisconsin is good also. He doesn't have the same kind of backlog Carol does.
