Hi there,
Can somebody help me out? I just received a box of Multigrade IV (MG4FB1K) and need to know how to read the identification, or "best before" date code.
On the label, which of course is ripped where the code was, it has written 01C701C04. Is that the "best before" date code? What does it mean? My guess is that it was made in the first month of 2004? Or should it have been used before the first month of 2004? Big difference!
There is also a barcode which has written, 0 19498 83366 3 (the 0 & 3 at the ends being smaller than the other numbers). Does this have any meaning?
