Old and new. First the old one, Leica IIf with a Leitz Summaron 3.5cm f/3.5 lens. The film is red-scaled Kodak Max 400.

The new one was shot with a Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 530 on CatLabs X Film 80 and developed in beer. VacuBot and his dog Hoover. He's been sitting at this bench with his dog for over a decade now.

My favorite one is the folding chair in the corner of the boardwalk.

How about an entry from a ringer, with full acknowledgement that Yousuf Karsh isn't eligible to be named the "winner". 😉

New. Old? Shot this a few days ago. Speed Graphic, Ansco Triple S Pan 3x4 film expired in 1948, developed in something I mixed up on the spot, printed on 8x10 Medalist single weight paper of unknown age. So, new but very, very old.

This was a chair I bought in flat pack about 20 years ago. Completely rickety. I had 4 of them - this was the last one standing. Been outside for about 5 years. I'm watching it decay.

All old, taken this Spring:

1. A commencement ceremony setup - This was on a Minolta Autocord, HP5 1600 (+2). I was just experimenting with pushing HP5, and I'm surprised at how normal it looks.

Seat1.jpeg

2. My favorite little nook at work - The exposure was difficult as the lighting was drastically different from tree to seats. This was a Nikon FM2N with Aurora 800, but I'm not sure which lens.

Seat2.jpeg

3. A lunch spot that had interesting seating - The lab left a bad scratch on the scan and I haven't bothered to fix it. This was on a Pentax 6x7 MLU w/ 105mm lens and Ilford FP4.
