It's the end - last day of the month. I'll try to pick one from these excellent submissions later today. So that can give people about 12 hours for any last-minute submissions.

I think practically everyone was deserving of a win this time. There were very many great submissions. I think I will choose the entry by @skylight1b, though. More than the image on its own, I find it interesting to scroll down the page to it and see the 4-headed monster appear, which is baffling until more of the photo appears.

I do want to thank everyone for participating. There are some great photos posted here.

I saw this last night and forgot to come back. Thank you, @Don_ih! I guess I'm getting a little better at this. I got an honorable mention last month and finally won one. This was one of those shots that was just taken at random as I was walking by and really worked out well.

So I thought I'd submit something late, because as you know, better late than never .
This was taken during April, so would have qualified for the "New" Category if I had been able to get it developed and scanned in time.
Before I reveal the answer, can anyone guess what it is a photo of?

One partial hint: it was exposed during the same outing as the shot I've just uploaded to the Galleries, which I've titled "Chomp"
By the way, it is on TMax 100, exposed in a 645 Pro using an 80mm macro lens, and developed in XTol-R.

Cool photo, Matt. But I'm at a loss as to what it's a photo of. Looks like concrete.

It reminds me of the underside of a lawn mower deck; possibly with some sort of blade.

Three good guesses, but I think it is time to reveal the answer.
