Subject just caught my eye. This is a very old one, because I don't think I shall get near any columns for a month or two.

(Clearly this building was designed for people who stand upon the shoulders of giants.)

Old, from October 2022. Pentax MX + SMCP 35mm f/2.0 with yellow K2 filter. Ilford SFX 200. The negative was camera-scanned and inverted with moderate adjustments in Lightroom.
Some family history here: In 1947, while working with a construction crew, my great grandfather fell from the roof of this portico and died.

Really interesting building, is it a monastery, nunnery or a house of religion of some sort? I ask as there is a cross on the top of the building which seems at odds with the types of buildings one normally sees a cross atop.

By the way, nice picture.

MattKing is right. It's the library of a Catholic college.
