Spring has sprung, and is a time of renewals and new beginnings. But for our friends south of the equator, Fall has fallen, and winter is closer. So instead of a seasonal theme, let's make it very broad to include all kinds of beginnings.

Please interpret broadly!

Entries should be taken during the MSA period: 1 May to 30 June. If you've got something earlier that fits the theme we'd be very happy to see it but it won't be an entry. Entries can be posted in the MSA gallery or in this thread or both.

MSA continues the "analog tradition" of APUG. Please see the guidelines if you have any questions.

MSA Guidelines: https://www.photrio.com/forum/threa...gnment-msa-guidelines-revised-2015-07.126124/

I hope you enjoy the assignment and look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
If you haven't tried MSA before, I encourage you to try. Everyone is welcome.

Thanks Ned - an excellent idea for a theme.
I wonder if our very pregnant neighbours would like to help me participate:whistling:?
I'll do my semi-moderator bit.

Yesterday my beginning with Polaroid Transfere/lift emulsion technic with an old Polaroid Land camera 640 and Polaroid 600 film and the bees started to build a nest in the Bees-Hotel in our garden.
Polaroid Landcamera 640 with 600 film. Image lifted in hot water 60C, than transfered in cold water at aquarelpaper 300 gr. This is the first result

BTW: I keep hearing that this forum is hard/not to find. Maybe an idea to make a striking LINK in de MSA GALLERY linked to this MSA forum?

WOW what a creative go for it. A question... is this the older original Polaroid 600 or the current one? If its the current one, they sure have made advancements in its color. Nice composition and love the way it came out. What a nice beginning post for this new MSA!

Every day a new style, new ideas, new habits, new songs to sing, new pictures to paint …
That’s what my daughter Mia likes. Captured her during rehearsals for an art project in high school.

Well this has been a slow MSA, still a few more days.

I will be traveling this weekend, on the road for a few days, and no internet access at the cabin we're going to. Possibly if my wife is brings her laptop, I can make the selection at a motel along the way one evening. Otherwise, sometime during next week, I'll try to go to the library in the nearest town where they have a few public use computers and do it there. So the "judging" might be a few days late.

Greetings from the side of a road in Idaho where my daughter can get a signal and make a "hot spot" with her phone. Sorry for the late "judging".

Congratulations to the winner vodanh for "early lotus".

Special mention for bertus' polaroid transfer, and my daughter and I both like the 2nd photograph at the county fair by macfred.

Thanks to everyone for participating in this round of MSA!

Thank you NedL and Matt. I'm very happy to be MSA winner last month and I've posted a new theme for the MSA of the next two months. I hope to see many great photos there.
