Picturers that suggest a Healing

As in a younger sister, hugging her brother, who is crying with a bruised and bloddy knee.
-
As in, the quiet peaceful ebby found after the cascading water finds its deap pool, after going through its rapids on it's journey to the sea.
-
As in, a cup of hot steaming coffee, caught on a kitchen table, as light streams through the thinly veiled window, ... staring a fresh new day!
-
Healing, .. as in a fallen tree, deep in its forest, sends a new stem of growth, upward, reaching for the sky!
-
Healing, as in a mother wiping the tears from her childs crying face.
-
Healing, as in an old gnarly farm truck gets its flat tire repaired, or ....

For those who are new, here are some rules for the MSA:
* All images must be taken between March 1st and April 30th 2017.
* The image must be made analogue: no computer enhancements, digital internegatives, etc. allowed.
* There really is no problem with correcting out those scanning introduced unwanted elements, but no other Photoshop tinkering please.
* You can post the results here and in the MSA Gallery not later than April 30th.
* After that date the entries will be judged and a winner will be announced.
* The winner may host the next MSA.
* You can find all (there was a url link here which no longer exists).

Happy shooting!

Intriguing theme Peter - I'm looking forward to the responses.
I'll do my "thing" with changing the "Sticky" designations.

Not exact fitting in the assignment I think, but good for healing: fruit and spring flowers.
Pinhole in Cambo front (today), 4 minutes exposure time . 4x5" ilford FP4 in HC 110. Camera setup included.
I'll try to take more abstract pictures. btw: I like this theme!

Healing: As in the .. Wait and hope for healing. .. of a friend!
Given with a vulnerability, .. the sharing and caring of oneself in the disguise of a stuffed animal, in the love for the seriously ill.
Healing: A moment of acceptance.
The opening of the heart beyond its normal parameters.

Healing: What would be your idea?
Exposed onto a thin flexible strip of plastic, coated with a light-sensitive emulsion, developed and printed to be shared, .. for this assignment, that suggests a Healing?
Do you have a concept to try? ...
Go shoot it, .. a healing!
A depth of transition, ... which can be of a melancholy, .. or of a joy beyond compare!
A Healing, .. it may be your turn.

Looking forward to your postings.. here's perhaps an example, of a healing time:
Done in the quietude of reading and becoming immersed in a good book.

Quite time with Good BookE.jpg

:D Ah,,, come on, come on, ... come on... is it that DIFFICULT? :D

To develop in an image, about something that happens everyday, in our lives.
Yours, mine and everybody's!
Is it that much of a challenge?

Think about it, ... healing comes in many forms every day.
The changes, challenges in our daily lives, the things and items, people places and things, that create a nuance of healing!
Nuance: a subtle difference in or shade of meaning, expression, or sound.
"the nuances of facial expression and body language"
synonyms: fine distinction, subtle difference.

Heal: to make whole

Photography is a way to heal myself from stress and to clear my mind. It's good therapy!
And I did need some to deal with the raw facts of life ~ like loosing two parents within a year (my father Dec. 2015 and my mother Oct. 2016). Time to take a good look at myself ... how am I doing?

Self portrait made with Olympus Pen-EE (halfframe) on Fomapan 100 (@ ASA 200) just by pointing at myself.

For all those being battered by winter yet again - spring flowers and sunshine.

Pressured and bruised by the branch that supported it, this apple healed around it's injury.

Lovely posts..
The spring flowers bringing more focused light into the darkness, below and beside it.
The bowl configuration with its color change of grain, almost like a hand, reaching out to support the bruised apple, cup it, ... love and protect it.
Very appealing and healing ...

Healing will always continue, but for this Monthly Shooting Assignment, the imagining for it will soon end.
Anymore to share?

There is a bit of a story to this one.
My wife and I decided to enter this year's Sun Run. That is a 10 km "race" which is run each year in Vancouver, BC. It attracts everyone from serious athletes to people who dress up in funny costumes. There are elite athletes, recreational runners, walkers, striders, people in wheelchairs, people with assistance walkers, parents, kids .... you get the idea.
Some years there have been in excess of 50,000 people entered. This year (its 33rd) there was just over 40,000. The setup for the start is quite complex - it is done in stages, so that there isn't a huge and unwieldy crush at the beginning. Generally speaking, the faster your expected time, the earler you start.
My wife and I are neither runners nor athletes. We entered in the walking category.
My wife decided to prepare by joining a preparation clinic. I prepared on my own. As a member of the clinic, my wife's registration was handled through the clinic, while I registered separately. As a result of the different types of registration, her start time was about 30 minutes before me, even though we knew that I would be able to complete the course a fair bit faster than her. So we decided to start where scheduled, and if and when I caught up to her, I would stay with her to the end.
To give you a sense of what it is like, here is a photo taken from where I started. There are 30,000+ people ahead (including my wife):

We started, I caught up with her about half way, and we finished the 10 km together. Yay.
So why is this here, you ask?
Well, although I was a bit tired, I wasn't too bad after everything was finished. My wife though was a little bit the worse for wear in one way. You see, she ended up with "Feet Needing Healing", which happens to be the title of my entry in this MSA:
