OK, I have finished arguing with myself. Its time to comment:
Honorable mentions:
Bertus - The hollow man. Interesting take on the subject. I particularly like how you have positioned yourself against the wall.
rpavich - Image 1. I like how the chrome has all the crap and corruption of being on the road. I like how you have gotten in really close and the distorted mirror image
NedL - Image 1. This has really challenged my own impression of what makes a good image. I like the position of the watch. I like how the pinhole has given enough detail to know what we are looking at.
Which leads me to the Winner:
MattKing - "Even dogs deserve a little bling":
OK, the chrome is clearly there, which meets the brief. But for me, the story is what makes the image. At first, my reaction was "jeez, I wish he had taken it 30 seconds earlier, while the dog is lapping up the water", but after more ...."reflection"..... I changed my mind. We have the bowl. We have the water splashed everywhere. We have the hind legs of the dog, with the dogs handler leaning in to get a closer look of the Dodge. We also have other on lookers. There is enough in there that leads me into the story I want the image to portray
Excellent and well seen. Congrats!
Cheers and I hope you all enjoyed this MSA.
