I had a funny feeling water would be a common theme.
I should have looked before I headed down to the river for myself! I do have other ideas, though.
ME Super's photo almost has a three-dimensional look to it.

I'm putting this one in for two reasons: seeing the giant Cartman doll, I can hear his voice saying "Respect my Authoritah!", and because the recycling crew driving around Coyoacan would call out the equivalent of "Bring Out Your Trash!" as they went down the block. It reminded me very much of the scene at the beginning of Monty Python's Holy Grail with the cart man (see what I did there?) working the streets calling out "Bring out your dead!". The recycling guys would call out very much with the same cadence and tone as the undertaker in Holy Grail.

Nice series, barbara ann, fitting perfectly within this theme. And I actually did hear the wind and rain on the window when I looked at the last image

Wowsers, this was an assignment I ended up really being able to sink my teeth into. It also helped that I got a Pentax SF1 (SFX outside the US) that needed a test roll ran through. So in addition to my LaSalle Canyon shot, I have a small series or two.

All contributors, thank you for your controbution to the photography theme "Listen to". There was some beautiful work we could see and "hear", among others rippling water, radio, breaking down a negative, yawning, rushing wind, swishing, protest music, rain, musical notes, dancing, power trucks, waterfalls and so on. For the winner I have chosen Peter K. with "Can you hear it", with his rapids in an imposing massif, in what I believe is Arizona. Congratulations Peter, you can start the next assignment!!

I used C-41 for my MSA shot and when I tried to rewind the film in a hurry I didn't push the right button for "rewind" and the end disconnected from the cassette. I did finally spool it into another cassette but too late to send in for processing in time. I'll post it here in this thread later if it's any good.

Oh my... what a shock... been out of touch for three weeks, and just arrived in London, so still out of country.
Thank you Bertus and everyone else for thier kind remarkes, on our way home, tomorrow, and will think up a new theme... and post it ASAP.
Thats going to be a different kind of challenge..

Ha... Well jet lag in process.. started the new adventure... which was more of a challenge then in just trying to take a picture, and not even home yet..
It will be called "Healing", please see the new topic heading for details.
