Hi there community. I just bought a MLT5, and TL super 1000, what bateries are working w these old guys, and does it make sense to use adaptor w 1.5 volt cheaper batteries?

You do not need an electronic adapter for your models.

Instead use V625 U (Alkaline) directly or LR 44 with mechanical adapter.

Does the 1.5 v change the reading in meter, is too much voltage from the 1.35 original mercury batteries

From the second generation of the Nova series already a bridge-circuit was employed at the Praktica. Thus one may substitute a 1.35V cell by a 1.5V cell.

Anything but button cells sold at Aldi. They are shit.
