FS: MPP Micro Technical Mark VII 4 x 5 Camera
For sale: A MPP Micro Technical Mark VII (MKVII) 4 x 5 Metal FIeld Camera. Well built British made camera similar to the Linhof Technika III.
Body comes with three lens boards (One MPP board for Copal #1, one wooden for Copal #0 One MPP cone board for Copal #0) and one extra Ground Glass.
The MPP Mark VII is very well built, has a Graflok back, with pop-up metal GG hood, and a generous 15 to 17 inches of bellows extension.
The nice feature about this camera is that it has a technical back, and can tilted forward or back and side to side for perspective and focus control as well as extra bellows extension. Back rotates easily from horizontal to vertical.
The front has geared rise, shift and backward tilt. There is a side mount rangefinder that appears to work and has a side mounted cam that can be changed out or altered for a specific lens. This camera has the same capabilities as a Linhof Tehnika but at a much better price. Camera was well taken care of over the years, in used but clean condition.
