Motorized RB67 6x8 Backs

I have a couple of questions about the motorized, 6x8 backs that Mamiya made for the RB67.

>> Will they work on any RB67 camera? (Pro or Pro-S?) \

>> Are they completely self contained? Can the winding be triggered somewhere on the back itself? (Or, do they need to be mounted on an RB for use?)

>> Will these work on some other camera than an RB series camera? For example, non-motorized RB backs work fine on a Mamiya press camera with the roll-film adapter, or on an Arca roll-film adapter. Could I use he motorized version on either of these cameras?

>> Are batteries readily available for these backs?

One item I've seen a couple variations on is the 6x8 configuration. Meaning, it is my understanding that the unit only gives the 6x8 output in vertical or portraiture usage. My assumption is that it then only gives the standard 6x7 output in the horizontal or landscape mode of operation. Yet, still eats up the film at the 6x8 configuration no matter what orientation is used overall. So, other then getting the automatic winding it seems a bit short on an upgrade need to me personally. But, I might be missing something or misinformed.
