Before getting married, I bought a Hasselblad 500cm with 80, a Nikon F4s, and a Mamiya 6 with 75, all brand new, over a span of 2 years. Each one was over $2000cdn. Still have the Nikon. The Hasselblad and Mamiya have been sold, but the Hasselblad has been replaced with a used one, and that kit has been expanded.

Recently I traded some Leica gear for a Plauble Makina 67W, valued at $1700.

I've just been racking what's left of my brains to answer this question, but since I've had just about all my equipment for more than twenty five years I really can't remember.

... Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens ... it's the highest I paid at one shot ...

It certainly is, if you only made one shot with this lens ..... :whistling:

:D you know I got the lens because I was interested in Macro, but it's a very beautiful for portraiture. I used to use Canon 50mm 1.8 always for portraits but when I got the 100 it's my goto portrait lens now. very nice resolution and colors,
