Monthly Shooting Assignment - November/December 2010: Festive

Alright I guess I'm up. For the next 2 months we'll be doing the theme Festive. This would included special occasions like birthdays, weddings, holidays like Hanukkah, Christmas and Islamic New Year. Have fun!

What a coincidence. In Malaysia this Friday, the Indians will be celebrating their Diwali and next Wednesday it's our turn to celebrate Eid for the Haj pilgrimage in Mecca. I may have an idea or two for this

Hmmmm......this thread is relative to my interests.

Festive is fitting considering the huge Giants win on the road, San Francisco last night was RIDICULOUS, my best friend lives there. I could tell where they were but could not see streets or cars just lots and lot and lot of people, and lots of champagne.

Question, does the submission have to be before the end of December or can the shot date be in the timeline but supposed I don't get it developed until January, I'm flat broke and can't really process any 35mm right now.

I had a tough time deciding a winner for this one as I liked them all. I think my favorite is the Festive ball by Bertus. I really like the abstract look of this and I really like the contrast of the picture. Congratulations, you get to select the topic for March and April MSA.
