Monopod help needed

I have a old Stitz QS/UP monopod but unfortunately it hasn't got a head fitted. I have been trying to hunt one down in the UK for ages but to no avail. Can't find a website for Stitz so i suppose it no longer exists. Can anyone help me? Do you have one? Do you know the model name of the head that fits this monopod?

Does the monopod have a mounting screw for a head, or a threaded hole?

I have a Stitz UP 44 that comes with an integral ball head. I tried, but I could not coax the head loose, so I can't tell you what sort of attachment it uses. (When traveling, I find this monopod most useful as a bottle opener. )
