I have placed an order for all the required chemicals to mix PC-TEA

The minimum TEA I can get from the order is 250ml, but most of the instructions available in the internet is to make for 100ml of concentrate, like,

- TEA 75ml
- Ascorbic Acid 9g
- Phenidone 0.25g
- Finally 25ml

What quantities should I use to make 250ml of PC-TEA concentrate? Is it a simple 2.5x of all?

Others will chime in, but 2.5X should give you 250ml of an excellent film developer. Enjoy it! John W

Are you sure you can use 250ml in a reasonable time frame ?

At 1+100, that is going to be 25 litres of developer to get through, a heck of a lot more if you use it at 1+500.

I use 510-Pyro from time to time, and 100ml lasts well over a year - Still have half a bottle in the fridge that I mixed some eighteen months ago (not sure if it is any good now).

@1 + 50 its 12ml of concentrate plus 600ml of water. And that equates to 84 rolls of 135 film or 42 rolls of 120 from 500ml concentrate.

In one or two years time, it is possible to achieve it.

To the OP, I hope that your recipe ends with the statement "water to make 100 ml" or something similar otherwise it makes no sense. 75 ml of TEA do not make 100 ml of concentrate.

BTW, TEA does not spoil. Keep it well stoppered as it will absorb carbon dioxide from the air and become less alkaline. It may take on a yellowish color with age but will be fine.

I am little confused now. Is is not like pouring 75ml of TEA first, adding the chemicals until it is dissolved and add another 25ml of TEA to make it 100ml concentration?

Well your recipe does not say that. If that is so then it needs to say "TEA to make 100 ml. Should any reader use your recipe as it is given they will get the wrong results. Formulas should not require any guesswork on the user.
