Mixing and using Ansco 17

I use to develop my negatives with D-76 (I mix it from raw chemicals), and I'd like to try Agfa/Ansco 17.
Should I use the same developing times or there are some adjustments?
In Steve Anchell's book (Darkroom cookbook) the formula calls for granular borax, but I have fine powder borax. Is it the same thing?

Powdered Borax is usually just ground finer, but it depends where you've bought it. Most Borax is the Decahydrate.

The developing times for Ansco 17 are slightly longer than D76, probably around 15-20% you'll need to do some tests.

my borax is fine ground powder, and the label says it is sodium tetraborate decahydrate.
Can I use it to mix Ansco 17?
