well , a 2% solution of black himalayan salt indeed makes a good substitute for a polysulphide toner.

Do you have a recent example image and what is the color tone? Direct toner or bleach?

Do you have a recent example image and what is the color tone? Direct toner or bleach?

I use it as a direct toner just to warm the highlights a little; similar to brief direct sulphide toning without the after toning in the wash.
