Mitsui Zinc Developer ???

I have a bottel with this written on the lable
"Mitsui Zinc Developer ??? for the development of zinc plates, alkaline solution containing 6% sodium Hydroxide"

can someone here please explain this developer to me, the process, zinc plates their use etc...

I believe it's for lithography - printing press stuff. Try googling around with that and you'll find something.

Yes, I'm sure it's for printing/etching processes.

There are also so-called "developers" for projects like printed circuits, etc., for electronics, but these are not related to the chemicals we know for photography.
