I am selling a Miranda Automex II with a 5cm F1.9 lens from the early 1960's in excellent condition. This is a ruggedly built, nicely crafted, Japanese-made camera which I regard as an early modern 35mm SLR.
I bought this camera a few years ago from a repair technician, who checked it out as fully working. I may have run one roll of film through it at most, and it's clearly seen very little use in its long life. All mechanical functions are working normally. The included lens is very clean, clear, and problem-free with a correctly working iris. The selenium cell based light meter, which does not require batteries, also works, but is perhaps a stop to a stop-and-a-half off in my opinion. I'd not endorse using the meter without calibrating an offset (light meters this old rarely work at all!).

Miranda lenses and accessories are widely available in the afermarket, e.g. on eBay at modest prices for the quality they offer. It's a great system and really underappreciated in my view.
