My Minox Developing tank has a ring for 36 exposures. If it's removed would that be for 40 exposures? Also what do you do for 15 exposures. Any help would be appreciated. Ron

Back in the day, Minox film came in 36 and 50 exposure rolls. So no ring is for 50. I think the ring is mostly to prevent trying to pull enough film to break the end loose. That is, the reel bottoms out on the ring at 36. I have the tank set but so far (after not using it for 40 years) I have no freakin' idea where that ring may be. I cut a best guess from a piece of plastic pipe!

For fifteen, just don't crank the spool in too hard, I guess. I'm not sure there's a whole lot of useful info in it, but I have a .PDF file (made from scans) of the instructions for that tank (if you don't have them).
