I bought a Minolta X-500 cheaply on eBay for the lens. The previous owner seems to have tried some repair and failed. The wind on lever has been removed. The parts are there but seem to be the wrong way round. There is a cover and a coil. Any suggestions on what to do?

Here's a video of how to remove the top cover of a X-700. Might be helpful.

In many camera's the thread on the screws holding the rewind lever is counter clockwise..

I have the lever a spring and a round cover to the lever not sure if something is missing. The spring appears to be too large to go in position not sure why

My computer is not connected to the internet at the moment I am using my phone not sure what to do
