Any Minolta fans here?
An Olympic Track & Field medalist toted this thing around the world in the 70's. I didn't have the heart not to buy it from him. I've never put a roll of film through it. It's in pristine condition, cosmetically. The 58mm & 135mm lenses check out, but the 35mm aperture is a touch sluggish, otherwise it's responsive. All the focus rings are buttery. The camera winds, fires and sound consistent at all shutter speeds. I shot the lenses on my mirrorless and they render nicely, but I was afraid I was going to ding them.
$199+paypal fees shipped to conus for this collectible kit? I spent some time examining the 35mm aperture and it's worse than I thought. It sticks fully stopped down and on occasion freezes before freeing up again. When I trigger the bayonet on the rear of the lens, the diaphragm is really sluggish, non-responsive on occasion, etc. It's not a terribly difficult lens to disassemble and reassemble, but I don't have time. Bottom line, I think a price adjustment is appropriate. $165+paypal fees shipped to conus. (p.s. the 58mm and 135mm have very snappy apertures -- no issues with them)
